FAQs
Do I have to pay monthly, or can I make a one-time payment?
All packages guarantee you one-month of services, including all listed services in a given package, and email & phone communication with me.
Ongoing, monthly rates are only required if you’re in need of website maintenance services beyond our initial month together. If that is something you’re interested in, we can discuss more to set you up with a contract for X amount of months.
What isn’t included in website maintenance?
One thing to keep in mind, is that the provided website maintenance packages only cover your CURRENT website, and do NOT include the creation of any new webpages.
For instance, if you’re looking to break up your current content into separate pages for the sake of improving SEO or making your website more organized and less clustered, this would be an additional cost given the work it takes to create new pages.
My Essential & Premium Packages include the insertion of pre-existing blog content - if you are someone who is interested in blog writing services, I do offer this for an additional rate per blog. See my current rate here.
How do I know if I need website maintenance vs. web re-design?
Website maintenance is the upkeep (housekeeping, if you will) of your current & pre-existing website. It includes reformatting content, as well as updating and revising copywriting so it’s up-to-date and relevant. This helps keep your website updated for search engines and prospective clients/customers.
Web re-design, on the other hand, consists of taking one’s existing site and revamping it with a new color scheme, fonts, images, & feel so that it is significantly different than its original form.
Think to yourself: Do I love my current website (including the color scheme, fonts, and overall branding), I just need a little bit of tweaking and upkeep? If so, website maintenance is the way to go!
How is payment handled and do you offer payment plans?
I currently accept payment via PayPal, which doesn’t require you to make an account. PayPal can connect with your debit or credit card.
For ONE-TIME MAINTENANCE, I do offer the option of splitting up your payment, one option being paying 50% on the project start date (the date you sign paperwork) and the remaining 50% upon the project end date. You may also pay in full at the project start date, if you’d prefer.
For ONGOING MAINTENANCE, I offer the option of splitting up your monthly payment into 2 bi-weekly installments. For instance, if you’re looking for ongoing maintenance with the Standard Package, bi-weekly payments would be set to $125, to arrive to a $250/month total.
